Healing Toward Wholeness – A Communal Wellness Check-In

Please join Yale’s affinity groups and the National Alliance on Mental Illness for a virtual community wellness check-in. In light of recent events, such as: the Buffalo supermarket shooting, Robb Elementary School shooting, and the Supreme Court Decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, we have decided to host a safe space to check-in on the health and well-being of our Yale community.

Yale Veterans Network & DiversAbility at Yale Spring Social

Join the Yale Veterans Network and Diversability at Yale for an evening of community, conversation, and culinary delights. Catering provided by Bears BBQ, a local, veteran-owned business. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for prizes donated by Athletics, Yale Repertory Theatre, and the Wine Thief. The Yale Farm is wheelchair accessible and near the Yale shuttle. This event is open to fully vaccinated and boosted Yale employees. Pre-registration is required and is capped at 70.

Yale University Naval and Air Force ROTC President’s Review Ceremony

Join us for the Yale University Naval and Air Force ROTC President’s Review Ceremony, which will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

The President’s Review recognizes the members of our institutions’ shared ROTC community for their academic achievements, military aptitude, community service, and physical fitness; it is also an opportunity to celebrate the dedicated faculty who contribute to these students’ success. Crash Course: Veteran Reflects on Training Ukrainian Volunteers for Battle

On April 5, International Security Studies will host a conversation with Adrian Bonenberger ’02, president of the Yale Veterans Association, and his wife, Iryna Solomko.
The pair will reflect on Bonenberger’s recent trip to Ukraine, where he was among a group of American combat veterans who gave a two-week crash course to volunteers of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces. The American veterans—who organized and paid for the trip themselves—trained the volunteer fighters in small unit tactics and leadership.

You will learn the tools to living happier and how it’s the primary driver for resilience, mental health, and thriving during this extended pandemic state.
