Colleague and Friends of Yale ROTC,

President Peter Salovey and Yale ROTC invite you to attend the Yale University ROTC President’s Review Ceremony, to be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

The President’s Review recognizes the members of our institutions’ shared ROTC community for their academic achievements, military aptitude, community service, and physical fitness. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the dedicated faculty and colleagues who contribute to the student’s success.

International Women’s Day

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups to celebrate International Women’s Day in various locations across campus on Tuesday, March 5th, from 11:30 am– 1:30 pm. Stop by a location near you to get a flower for yourself, or someone you know, to celebrate International Women’s Day. Suggested donation of $1 per flower is welcomed, while supplies last, to benefit Phenomenal I Am. Elevate Your Career: Strategic Pathways to Success

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups and the New Haven Hiring Initiative for an interactive workshop on how to elevate your career. We will be joined by Alexis Willoughby-Robinson, who will participate in a moderated discussion with Jessica Barajas, about her 20-year career journey.

Following the discussion, Alina Colossale will provide an overview of the individual development plan, job crafting, networking, and resources available at Yale.

Children’s Authors and Illustrators Series - Author & Coach Tanisha Marie

The New Haven Free Public Library’s Children’s Authors and Illustrators series continues! Join Coach Tanisha Marie on Thriving Thursday for a financial wellness book read. There will be a discussion on how wealth is built from childhood and how children can start creating their own income from home. Attendees will learn the importance of self love, being happy, investing, saving, and ownership; and will leave with a clear picture of what steps to take to start building wealth today.

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups for an interactive workshop on how to navigate and align yourself in a career at Yale. Alina Colossale, Kalisha Fitzpatrick, Nakisha Jones, and Kimberly Massores from Talent Acquisition will provide an overview of the hiring process, what you can do now to prepare, understanding job posts for each job category, what managers look for, resume tips, what makes a good cover letter, and best practices for interview preparation.
